Financial Management Webinars Presented by the Nonprofit Finance Fund
Our friends at the Hawai’i Alliance of Nonprofit Organizations (HANO) are partnering with the Nonprofit Finance Fund (NFF) to offer a series of financial management webinars and have invited nonprofits in Maine to participate.
NFF’s webinars are designed for nonprofit staff and board members. Their approach demystifies nonprofit accounting concepts and presents financial information in a fresh and productive way. By focusing beyond the scope of general compliance functions, such as accounting, NFF instead teaches participants how to read and interpret their financial statements to inform strategic decisions and use management tools to improve the use of resources and achieve stronger mission results. These webinars are ideal for beginners, or anyone interested in brushing up on the fundamentals of nonprofit finance.
MANP members will receive the HANO member discounted price of $40 per webinar. For nonmembers, the cost is $60 per session.
In order to receive the discounted price, MANP members should complete HANO’s online registration form and type MANP in the field for state association affiliation. Membership will be verified.
Each webinar will run 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM Eastern (10:00 AM – 11:00 AM HST).

Nonprofit finance is not an entity separate from an organization’s programs. Rather, it is the bedrock on which all successful programs are built. Likewise, an organization’s finances are a key driver of many management activities. This webinar focuses on effectively integrating financial management practices into all areas of organizational management including governance, fundraising and strategic planning.
Be on the look out for information about the next webinar series, Tools for Data-Driven Decision Making. Sessions start in July.
