MANP Elects New Board Members
MANP is pleased to announce the election of three new members to its Board of Directors:
Lelia DeAndrade, Senior Director of Grantmaking Services at the Maine Community Foundation, holds a PhD in Sociology from Syracuse University. At MCF, Lelia oversees all competitive grant programs and leads the Foundation’s strategic goal to support racial equity. Before joining MCF, Lelia was the Associate Director of the Center for the Prevention of Hate Violence, where she developed and implemented trainings for schools, health professionals and federal and law enforcement agencies across the country.
Wendy Richards of Richards Nonprofit Law, LLC is an attorney focusing exclusively on tax-exempt organizations. Wendy was born in Texas and spent a decade in the Midwest before coming to Maine. Wendy holds a B.A. degree from the University of Chicago and a law degree from the University of Wisconsin.
Marcia Sharp, former chair of Lift360’s board of directors, was instrumental in leading the closure of Lift and the successful preservation and transition of Lift programs to MANP and MDF. In prior work, Sharp founded and led two nationally recognized consulting firms based in Washington DC.
MANP would also like to extend a special thank you to Stephanie Eglinton, a Senior Program Officer at the Maine Community Foundation, and Kenneth Stafford, founder of StaffordAdvisors, for their hard work and commitment to advancing MANP’s mission as they cycle off of the Board of Directors.
