Members and prospective members logged in recently to attend our most recent Membership Orientation Webinar, a session designed to outline and explore the various benefits of MANP membership. We offer these 30 minute webinars each quarter to highlight new and improved benefits, also explaining our most popular benefits and giving a detailed tour of our website.
Members asked some great questions! One attendee asked about our most popular benefits, wondering which is THE most popular. Well, that’s a bit of a toss up. Our education programs are the backbone of our work here at MANP, strengthening nonprofits throughout the state by providing professional development programs and educational resources to nonprofit executives, staff, board members, and volunteers.
At the same time, our job board receives over 12,000 hits each month! We offer a significant member discount for 30-day postings on the only job board in Maine featuring nonprofit and philanthropic employment opportunities. Check it out.
Another very popular benefit is a significant discount ($75 MANP members/$699 nonmembers) on an annual subs
cription to Grantstation, an advanced searchable database of more than 7,000 active funding sources that includes grant opportunities from state, private and federal sources, private and corporate foundations, and association and international funding sources. Information provided includes contact information, eligibility, giving levels, scope and focus, areas of interest, application procedures, etc. Grantstation offers a recorded tour of their website.
We answered a great question about human resources assistance for MANP members, which we offer through our partner, Nonprofit Risk Management Center.
