Free Guidance on Nonprofit Property Tax Exemption (and More!)

by Molly O'Connell

If your nonprofit owns property, you may be eligible for exemption from property tax. Familiarize yourself with MANP’s position on preserving property tax exemption, and take advantage of two new free resources designed to help Maine nonprofits navigate this tricky issue.

These are the latest in a series of free white papers designed to help nonprofits enhance their understanding of the rules and regulations governing Maine nonprofits. White paper topics include legal lobbying, disclosure rules, meeting minutes, reporting fraud, and more. To find all current white papers, visit our Answer Center and search for “white paper.”
