Shout It From the Rooftop: Thank You Presenters!
This time of year offers us the opportunity to reflect on all the things in life for which we are truly grateful. At MANP we feel lucky to be surrounded by and connected to so many people and organizations who are dedicated to making Maine a better place to live and work.
We’re grateful for the ways we’ve been able to support the sector in 2012 + 2013, highlighted in our recently released annual report, along with inspiring photos of our member organizations in action.
We are grateful to our Members and Friends, who make it possible for us to provide such a wide variety of services and support to nonprofits in Maine so they in turn can maximize their impact. Deserving of special mention is our lead sponsor for all programs and services, longtime MANP Benefactor and supporter of the sector, Healey & Associates.
And today we honor our amazing presenters, who volunteer time to make it possible for us to offer diverse, high-quality, frequent training opportunities.
As Maddy Corson quoted in her closing at the recent Community Catalyst Celebration, “You make a living by what you get. You make a life by what you give.” Our presenters epitomize a “we’re all in this together” mentality, giving over 1,500 hours of time in 2013, and demonstrating an ongoing commitment to sharing their knowledge, experience and insights so that nonprofit leaders, staff, board members and volunteers gain the necessary knowledge and skills to help their organizations become more effective and well-run.
They deserve to have their names shouted from the rooftops, but we’re not allowed access to our building’s rooftop, so instead we list them here (alphabetically by last name), along with the trainings and events they contributed to in 2013.
